In recent years, the development of (specialty) adhesives for industrial use has picked up rapidly. For example, modern adhesives today are capable of producing adhesion to oiled surfaces or surpassing other joining processes such as welding or riveting at high speed applications. Despite these excellent technological properties, gluing is usually only used when no other method is applicable.

This is largely because the success of bonding (due to its interdisciplinary character) requires early coordination and constant contact between adhesive manufacturers and users. Since this communication level is usually not sufficient, the users lack the necessary knowledge regarding the necessary process technology.

IFF GmbH helps you to close this information gap. Starting with the search for the optimal joining process, whereby possibly already existing procedures can be evaluated, over the search for the optimal adhesive system up to the conversion and integration of the new joining procedure sticking, into an existing or to be built up production, the IFF GmbH is in able to advise you on all these steps as a competent partner.

Coming from the Technical University of Munich, IFF GmbH has the scientific background for application-oriented consulting, taking into account the adhesive properties, which are first determined on the specimen and then verified on the original part. Of particular importance here are properties such as quasi-static, dynamic and highly dynamic strength and the aging resistance of the bonds, all of which can be experimentally developed at IFF GmbH
